Always clean your skin well, and never use lotion or moisturizer before applying foundation so that you have a fresh palette to start with.

Foundation needs to be worked into your skin using your body’s own warmth. Start by dabbing a little foundation on a few strategic spots: under your eyes, on your cheeks, chin, nose, forehead, ears and neck. You can always add more later if you need to. Next, use your Sponge Wedge to begin blending the foundation evenly with light strokes. Work away from the center of your face, eyes first, then to the cheeks and down to your chin. As you stroke, your body’s warmth works with the foundation, making it sheerer and easier to blend to a radiant, polished finish.

Powder will NOT clog your pores or make you look chalky … but it WILL polish your face and set your makeup so it lasts all day. The secret is to press the powder into your foundation using your powder puff then buff away any excess with a big, fluffy duster like our AVC Powder Brush.
